A very crippled SK-Gaming is the first team to leave the offline finals of NGL-1. Ownitsch, manager of the team, exclusively tells GosuGamers that they are not down about their performance

The Koreans Lyn and ReMinD were simply too far away to attend. HoT had Visa problems, Miou and XlorD were late and weren't able to attend the first match. In the first match we could instead see the manager ownitsch and an inactive fire_de which didn't augur anything too good. Ownitsch himself was not surprised of the result, due to this fact.
- I'm of course not shocked at all. As we just got into the finals two days before the first match we knew we had nothing to lose. Of course the going through of Grubby quite hurts, but against MYM we even played without XlorD and Miou, so I wouldn't count that.

When asked about Team NoA, and their drop-out, he says that he had no clue about that the team wouldn't attend until just a few days ago, which made it hard to prepare and working out the players flights and rooming.
- I remember talking to one of their orgas right after they qualified and it seemed only to be a problem about Space, not about their attendance at all. Then the rumours came up on Monday late evening, but we only were able to starts organising a lineup on Tuesday morning after they finally announced they won't attend.

“ eSports isn't yet where we all want it to be.
- Ownitsch about NoA's drop-outDo you (Ownitsch) think a behavior like this kills off the professional eSports scene?
- I think it pretty much shows that eSports isn't yet where we all want it to be. There have been several drop outs from important events during the last years and I think it's up to both sides, the leagues and tournaments but also the players and teams, to improve those conditions.

Moreover, the manager refused on speculating on the result had Lyn, ReMinD and Hot attended. He mentioned that there is no need on doing so, but instead focusing on the present and on how far they will go next season.
