In an interview with Moscow Five, former Virtus Pro player Andrew "Dread" Golubev discusses the fall of VP as well as his thoughts on the upcoming The International. In summary, it will be 'hard to tell', said Dread.

He spoke about the team's motivations during their early formation. "Our main task was to win, and The International was the first target to hit. The second one was Dreamhack, but we didn't go there in the end despite having qualified."

Later, though, came the brutal dismissal of Azen and Dread (along with the departure of KuroKy), a topic which he had much to add and much bitterness to spread regarding the matter.

"I'm coming home from the university after successfully passing my examinations, telling my manager that I'm ready to practise and the only response from him goes like: 'Dread-mate! We have good news and bad news. Which one would you like to hear first?'

"After a little pause the manager adds: "Well, they are both bad." He told me that they were picking up Blowyourbrain and Scandal for the roster (good news, oh wait...) and kicking me with Azen (bad news, all right)."

With the current roster consisting of only NS and Santa, Dread did not leave the Russian pair out of the equation: "Why stop at just me and Azen? NS and Santa failed really hard at the TI2 qualifiers."

Finally, he went on to elaborate on The International and the recent performances of teams online: "Even if some teams don't show any decent results online doesn't mean that they don't have over 9000 pre-made moves not to lose a single match with at The International. I think that the tournament will have many surprises to bring."

The main thing is though it's necessary to make sure God doesn't steal a wife from some wealthy American."
