Dmitry "Happy" Kostin and Antoine "Dayshi" Stievenart are the first two players to beat the qualifiers and join the premier clique of WCS Europe.
Ran on April 14th, the first ever qualifier for the WCS EU premier division saw a stacked bracket and a handful of upsets. Prominent names like Tails, WhiteRa, NightEnd, Lowely and Elfi faced early-round elimination with others such as BratOK, Targa, Daisy and Finale following.
In the final hours of the playday, Happy became the first qualified player for the premier circuit, crushing through Krass and Bling in the final rounds to get to the top two. A few minutes later, Happy was joined by Millenium's Dayshi. The Frenchman had arguably the tougher run, having to go through DeathAngel, Goody, Xigua and Feast before he can claim the premier league seed.
Three more premier division qualifiers are to be held during April 15-17 and this Wednesday we learn the complete lineup for the highest tier competition in Europe for 2013.
