The Korean zerg player from team MVP is takes the temporary top one position in his group at HomeStory Cup 4. After beating home turf contenders Hasu and Delphi, ViOlet is to face compatriot MarineKing in his third Ro32 match.
With two flawless victories, ViOlet is the first player to secure his place in the second group stage. Violet opened his first ever HomeStory Cup experience with a quick 2-0 bash against Delphi and proceeded to exert his dominance over mouzHasu. With 0-4 score in sets, the latter will have to depart from HomeStory Cup, as even a 2-0 victory against Delphi would not be sufficient to force an eventual tiebreaker since MarineKing is currently 3-2 in sets.
Alongside the events in Group B, Socke has secured a top spot in his own pool, sitting comfortably with 4-1 in sets, having defeated both InControl and Thorzain. The only one with a positive score in Group A is Nerchio and it is him that Socke will have to play next in order to cement his Ro16 spot.
