After a week of sharing and spreading the DotA love, and even longer waiting for some love to be returned, we now FINALLY have our three winners!
We're sure many of you assumed that we had forgotten about this contest or failed to announce the winners, but in fact, we had to redo the draw numerous times, because over 20 rightful winners failed to respond.
However, out of the whopping 16,574 people who showed their support and appreciation for the game throughout the running duration of the contest, we finally randomly drew three winners who actually wanted their prize.
And the lucky three are: Ivan "[uGt]Samir" Jurisic, Henry "elmizzt" Kung, and Kate "PinkBunny" Rize. And here's what they had to say when we asked them what they were most looking forward to about participating in the beta:
[uGt]Samir:“ I am looking forward to playing the Dota 2 beta because I've been playing the original legendary DotA for a long time and would like to see if the game is as good as original.”
elmizzt:“ I most look forward to playing tanky heroes like Rooftrellen, Abaddon or Bradwarden, because I love when the other team unloads all their firepower on me and I just shrug it off while my team tears them apart. ”
PinkBunny:“ I'm a huge fan of DotA. I think it will be the comparison with the original DotA of course. But still, according to the DotA 2 tournament I'm looking forward to seeing new dynamics.”
