After having evolved to the south-east Asian hope yesterday when LGD was sent to the lower bracket, Mineski now find themselves in the same grid quicker than expected. It was iG who caused the Philippine defeat, due to smarter drafting and better play.

The Chinese had last-picked a Doom Bringer which shaped out as golden choice against a Mineski lineup stuffed with heavy casters such as Queen of Pain, Puck or Shadow Demon. Last-named was shut down by Broodmother on bottom completely, while Zhou on Doom Bringer outlaned the opposing Puck on top and evolved to iG's main carrier later on.

Both went for a Vanguard, safe in the knowledge that the opposing heroes would not be a threat after tanking their first wave of spells. Not much went in Mineski's favour until the end, except a player-drop which required a load at a point where the disadvantage was not as big yet.

Admitting defeat, Mineski called 'Good Game' with a single-digit kill-score, letting iG pass on to the now all-Chinese winner bracket final with Nirvana.cn waiting

Mineski and MiTH on the other hand, are currently awaiting the winners of LGD versus DK, respectively MSPR and Kingsurf-JJ in the next lower bracket round.
