In two quick sets over his team-mate Mvp, Jae Duk "NesTea" Lim made it to the grand final of the Global Battle.net Invitational. This feat puts NesTea one step closer to the $50,000 first place prize.

NesTea used a very uncharacteristic style of him, going for early double evo before lair, sprinting to +2/+2 for his melee units as fast as possible. Mvp, who took an early third after denying NesTea any map control with his hellions, saw his tank/marine push overwhelmed and minutes later the same happened to his main as the swarm flooded in for the kill.

In set 2 on Shattered Temple, NesTea and Mvp spawned in close rush positions and so the zerg maestro threw down a very early roach warren, which both countered Mvp's reactor hellion opening and also broke down the wall-off to put the terran in a tough position. So tough that Mvp couldn't actually recover from the damage that the roach all-in has dealt him, gg-ing out and dropping down to the LB final.

- "Seeing the spawning positions, I knew it was all-in or nothing", said NesTea in the post-game interview. The three-times GSL champion is closer to yet another title but there are three more solid players still left in the tournament - Naniwa, SEn and MVP himself.
