The final IEM Cologne match of today brought a sad face upon a certain plush kangaroo. Polish protoss Mana continues his tournament rampage, claiming another victim in the face of Andrew "Moonglade" Pender.

Mana's patient defence and extreme caution brought him important victories in the first two sets. Moonglade opened the series with a 2-base all-in on Metalopolis but Mana's Immortals and Colossi were popping up in all the right moments and making Moonglade's rush backfire lethally.

The second set on Dual Sight brought on a shower of constant battles. Moonglade had a perfect mix of mass infestors, roaches and corruptors but Mana was calculating any engagement to the last bit and sniped a few infestors every time a clash was closing in. By turtling hard to keep his bases safe, Mana was now just one game away from the semi-finals.

The Xel'Naga Caverns set returned the intrigue to the series. Mana opened with the double-robo immortal build but just as he was about to destroy Moonglade's third, a flock of mutas flew into his natural, forcing a base-trade which Mana eventually lost, despite his desperate attempts to hide nexuses all around the map.

Unfortunate scouting decided Moonglade's fate on Tal'Darim as the zerg failed to spot Mana's stargate tech and his third expo was soon under void ray fire with no chance of defending it. Moonglade launched an all-in counter but as it failed completely, the Australian typed in a GG.

This will be the third tournament top 4 finish for Mana this month after placing second at Assembly Summer and third at IPL 2.
