The Canadian powerhouse Liquid'HuK walks out of his first NA Bnet Invitational game with a 2-0 victory. His zerg compatriot Ostojiy put up an excellent fight but couldn't quite grasp a victorious move.

The first game on Shakuras was as exemplary as it was epic. Ostojiy's hive tech tides of units swarmed HuK and for a moment it seemed that the Liquid protoss would fall apart but his defense was ironclad. Step by step, he pushed the zerg forces back thanks to his impenetrable archon force, backed up by massive blink stalker count. As his bases started dying, Ostojiy GGed out.

The second victory for HuK came as Ostojiy failed to read the DT tech on time. The zerg threw down an evo chamber and spore crawlers but those were a bit too late to spot the DTs.

HuK will play the winner of Select and TT1 in the second round, while Ostojiy drops down to the consolation bracket.
