Europe's most favorite playmate, Amel. Sharing a little about himself, his team, and many more on his insights about different aspects of our favorite game, DotA. Follow him on a short interview by Mineski from the Philippines.
Mania(Left) with PlaymatE(Right).
Recently, MYM just won F4F against SGC. What can you say about MYM's nonstop achievement in Euro DotA scene?
-"I guess we are strong because we have been together for a long time. Maelk, Mania, and Pusher have been together forever (a lot of years) and I joined them a few years ago. The others came a bit late, but they fit in good. We just play as a team and its not even because we scrim that much, we just know each other that well and have great individual skills, aswell as the ability to play as a unit.
Right now you have a 6 man team, do you think its effective? as Lacoste recently left because of that reason.
-"Currently we always have someone being busy because there is exams and real life matters that are more important, so its fine. I guess on the long run its gonna be difficult because there is always one who is gonna feel left behind. We have been talking about how to deal with this problem and we might have the solution but time will tell whether or not its gonna work."
How about Chinese teams dominating the scene. Do you believe that they create the trend in picks and playstyles that everyone follows?
-"Yes, mainly because they are the ones practicing it the most. The chinese scene is just much bigger a lot more serious with a lot more events. Everyone can create their own playstyle but questions is how well it works and chinese playstyle is efficient."
