The German player neNo! was recently interviewed by prodota.ru and questions such as the teams performance and whether neNo! would be moving to DOTA 2 were answered. Without further ado, GosuGamers presents you with the translated interview.

Hello, neNo! Please introduce yourself to our readers.

“Hey my nickname is neNo, I´m 23 years old and I've played DotA since 2009. I play mostly as a support in the competitive DotA scene and that's it.”

Now you've been playing for Browned Potatoes but some time ago you was in COMPETO/EDTN. What influenced your decision to join BP ?

“Ducky talked to me a few weeks before EDTN disbanded, and he told me that he was interested in me and asked if I would like to play some scrims with the team. I spent a long time with BP, and I enjoyed playing with them because I liked the people and we had a lot of fun together. I don't have as much experience with DotA like my teammates do, but I can learn much from them and I try to improve with every game.”

Now is not the best time for BP – you lost you sponsor, and your DotA achievements haven't been as big as we all want. But in the GosuCup 3 tournament's 3rd place game, you showed the entire DotA community that BP is very strong team and can compete with the top teams in the world, like Na`Vi. What can you say about that match?

“I think we are definitely a strong team if we play seriously more and more *smiles*. I can say that the match against Na'Vi wasn't as good as I expected because I don't know what happened there [in the games with Na'Vi].”

Does BP have a stable roster? If yes, what is it?

“Yes; its Fear, Ducky, Lacoste, S0ny, (justin bieber) *smiles* and me. The new player will be announced soon I guess.”

Can you say anything about 13abyKnight and StarCraft II Na`Vi ? Is that real? And will 13abyKnight continue to play DotA?

“I think he said everything in his announcement. I hope to see him back in DOTA 2. But I wish him best luck for his SC2 career.”

In the next season of the Intel Challenge, BP will be in group H along with SGC (ex. Vanity), Infernity and SlavikPro. Any comments about your future opponents ?

“I don't know much about the teams there. Only SGC should be dangerous in that group because they have fucking imba lacek. SlavikPro got legendary astra PotM? No, I can't really tell you anything about the other teams. ”

Who are your favorite heroes ?

“My favorite hero is Chen. He's such an imba herol he can change every team fight and does a lot in early game. After that I like Crystal Maiden , Vengeful Spirit, Earthshaker, Lion etc. All those kind of heroes who can gank and exercise some early pressure.”

Do you like the direction DotA is moving in? I mean, it seems to be last preparations before DotA2, with lots of fixes.

“I think DotA is actually doing great, yeah. The changes work fine and makes DotA more aggressive, not just a farm festival.”

Will you play in DOTA2 ? Or will you continue to play in original?

“I pretty sure I'll play DOTA 2!”

Will we see BP at any big LAN tournaments this year? Like WDC, SMM, or ESWC?

“I think we'll be present at some LANs yes, but I can't confirm now. ”

Can you name the European best teams?

“Yes: GG.NET, MYM, NaVi, Moscow Five (ex DTS), and BP. Of course I think Drz is doing really great at the moment, and if they practise more they can play at really high level soon.”

A lot of pro gamers were influenced by things from Asian DotA styles, and if not influenced, then just became fans of some players. Are you a fan of some players or teams from Asia?

“I liked the old LGD.SGty with 2009 in the team, but after he left DotA, I didn't watch any replays from Asia at all. I just checked out their picks etc.”

Do you play in any leagues? Or just official games and training sessions? Where could your fans find you for a game?

“Yes I do, I play in MYM Champions League and in Dotalicious Gaming, which is a really good platform with nice hostbots.”

BP is an international team. Do you have any language or communication problems? Or do you all speak English or another language at a good level?

“We all speak English, some better than the others, but its enough to communicate.”

Many of the former LOST.eu/BP players have become famous or legendary players, such as KwoM, MiseRy, Loda and Miracle. What's the teams secret?

“I dunno what the secret is at all. Maybe its BP and Ducky?”

How do you feel about Fear finally returning to DotA?

“Yeah Fear is back in business, I'm really glad to see Fear back in action because he´s such a nice player with a lot of experience.”

Thanks for the interview, neNo. Any shoutouts ?

“No problem. Shoutout to my german Homie EDE, 13abyknight, Mitcha, Xellos, Dread and a shoutout to titt ... after whining the whole time in Ventrilo and promising to give me $20 at the next DotA LAN! Thanks to my team and I almost forgot the Brazilian flamers we have: keep going because I enjoy every comment you make! THIS IS FOR U SANTA!”
