HSS Opening Cup Brackets Released, Round 1 Underway
Finally, after some delays, the HoN Super Series Opening Cup brackets have been released, and Round 1 has officially begun! With almost 250 teams participating in the tournament, it's one of the largest competitive HoN events to date.
This Opening Cup, to kick-off the first season of the HoN Super Series, is scheduled for eight rounds of single-elimination matches. In addition to the pool of 2.500 € cash and other hardware prizes, teams are playing to determine which of three divisions they will be placed in for the upcoming HSS season.
The tournament seeds and brackets have finally been released, meaning that teams have one week to play their first matches and submit the results.

The high-seeds look like quite a strong group of teams. Most of them should have no problem making it through Round 1, but we've seen plenty of upsets in best-of-one matches before.
The HSS has made it clear that only their own admins and official streamers from GameReplays and Honcast will be allowed to spectate these games. Delayed live-streaming will be provided by these sites, and be sure to look for our continued written coverage of the HSS Opening Cup!
