Mike "CuteISWhatIAim4" Velker wins the Monday FTOPS Event #27, the $1k Multi-Entry NLHE event for $408k after chopping when play was heads up. "KirbyNator", who won the FTOPS SVI main event in May of 2010, finished in second accepting $371k for second.

Velker was coming off a third-place finish in Event #18 last week. Along with the coveted FTOPS gold jersey and massive cash, Velker moves into fifth place in the Player of the Series race.

The final table was stacked with experienced players including FTP red pro Joao Barbosa, Anthony "D1rtyR1v3r" Nardi, and Eric "Avril Sharapova" Ladny.

The original guarantee for FTOPS event #27 was only $750,000, so the eventual $2.321,000 prize pool demonstrates the popularity and momentum behind the recently introduced Multi-Entry format of tournaments that allows players to purchase 4-6 entries in the same event.

The field had 2,321 entrants with the 234th place player wining $2,321.
