
The second season of American Dota League is around the corner, with ten of the strongest American competitors battling for the total prize pool of $10,000. The tournament kicks-off on April 8th.
American Dota League was one of the most prestigious and entertaining American tournaments of 2013. Team Liquid were the victors of the season, taking down Evil Geniuses in the grand final with a dominant 3-0. The tournament will be coming back on April 8th, with ten of America's strongest battling for the $10,000 prize pool.
The only squads that participated in the previous season are Team Liquid and Evil Geniuses. The rest of the teams are completely different, and we can find several new notable challengers for the title, including Cloud9, Team Dog, and Team eHug. The teams will be divided into two power groups, with all the teams of Group A the top-four teams of Group B being seeded into a single elimination bracket. The round-robin format of the groups will determine the clashes of the playoffs. All the matches will be in best-of-three, except the grand final which will be best-of-five.
