Today marks the kick-off of the Mega Stack Challenge XIX at the Foxwoods Resort and Casino in Connecticut. Unique to this year's event is a special WSOP November 9 reunion of all the final tablists who will be playing in a special $15k freeroll on Tuesday, February 8th.
Friday's initial event hosted by WSOP world champion Jonathan Duhamel is a $530+$70 buy-in NLHE event featuring a $75,000 guarantee.
The $1,090+$110 buy-in main event will begin February 12th with a $150,000 guarantee.
This is the first time that all nine WSOP Main Event final tablists have reunited in one tournament setting. The nine players, Michael Mizrachi, Joseph Cheong, Matt Jarvis, Filippo Candio, John Racener, John Dolan, Jason Senti, Soi Nguyen and Jonathan Duhamel, will all be in attendance as the east coast's largest poker room.
