Virtus.Pro wins ESL ESEA Dubai
Polish superstar team Virtus.Pro took home their most recent high-profile win this week after taking down Team SoloMid at the ESL ESEA Dubai invitational in a nail-biting best-of-five grand finals match that came down to the wire, netting them the $100,000 first place prize. CS:GO to be main title at DH Austin
Just a few monthes ago, Dreamhack announced the first ever North American event in the the organization's history, Dreamhack Austin, which is slated for May of next year. Now, DH has revealed that one of the their main titles for the event will be CS:GO, alongside two of the most popular fighting games, Street Fighter 5 and Super Smash Brothers.
Hellraisers lose Dosia
Hellraisers made one of the most suprising roster changes of this week as they revealed that they will be parting ways with one of their most well-respected players, Mihail "Dosia" Stolyarov, who has played for the Ukrainian organization for a significant length of time. In his place, HR will be subbing in Aleksandr "s1mple" Kostylev through Dreamhack Stockholm until a suitable replacement can be found.
DH Cluj-Napoca EU #2 pre-qualifier ends
The second European pre-qualifier for the Dreamhack Cluj-Napoca has ended this week with MIXCAT, Dobry, and dignitas securing spots at Dreamhack Stockholm, where they will be given a chance a direct placement into the final major of this year. HeatonN returns to coaching
Christensen has been taking a back seat in NiP since his resignation as coach for the team last year, a role that has been performed by Faruk "pita" Pita and as of recently, Joona "natu" Leppänen, who departed the organization just a few weeks ago. This week he returned to the position for ESL ESEA Dubai, where over $250,000 is on the line for the team, and will being attending Stockholm with the team as well.
