The final boss of the first 12 bosses in Cataclysm has been slain by several guilds already, first notably by the Russian guild "Exorsus".

Although it was the 10 man version was slain, Blizzard has stated that the 25 man and 10 man versions are tuned to be of equal difficulty (meaning 25 man raids are supposedly easier). The 25 man version is plagued by a respawn bug currently.

Soon after, the Finnish guild "Paragon" downed the 10 man version. Hours later, the first US/Oceanic guild "Adept"took down the beast, making them the first US kill.
