The winner will walk out of here with $5,000, and the runner-up will get $2,500. MorroW and IdrA will face each other to decide the winner today at 15:10, the question now is, who is it going to be?
Stefan "MorroW" Andersson
MorroW is currently ranked first on the GosuGamers rankings with 55 wins and 19 lost games. His statistics against Zerg is 16-7, but most of his counting games against Zerg was during the beta phases.
At Gamescom Stefan "MorroW" Andersson won against Artosis and Dimaga, and he showed off some very good marine micro against Dimaga's banelings at times. In the matches he found the reaper harassment very useful, but as he stated in the interview after the game, he's not used to playing reapers a lot, and mostly go for the early factory build into an early expansion.
Greg "IdrA" Fields
Greg "IdrA" Fields was the favorite to win the whole tournament from day one, and he still is. He is currently ranked third on the GosuGamers rankings with 30 wins and 14 loss. During the IEM finals here at Gamescom, IdrA has played so many terran players, still without losing - Strelok, DeMusliM, SarenS and Tarson. His statistics against Terran since the beta started is 11-3 (of the counting games for the ranking). The American did however lose single matches against some of the Terrans here at Gamescom - caught off-guard against Tarson and lost pretty easy to an early hellion/marine push, and he also lost two games to SarenS.
70% of the GosuBets say that IdrA will take it, while the remaining 30% believe in MorroW. Who do you think is going to win the grand final of the Intel Extreme Masters Global Challenge at Gamescom?
