Choosing the right hero in TBH: Task Bar Hero can make progression much easier, especially once you reach Nightmare and Torment difficulty. Every hero is capable of clearing the game’s content with enough investment, but some scale far better into the late game thanks to stronger damage, utility, or survivability.

S+ Tier

Ranger

The Ranger is currently the strongest hero in Task Bar Hero and stands comfortably above every other character.

She excels at both single-target and area damage, offering exceptional DPS, fast map clearing, and some of the best gear scaling in the game. Skills like Rapid Fire and Scatter Shot allow her to dominate boss encounters while also clearing large groups of enemies with ease.

Although her early-game performance is somewhat gear-dependent, the Ranger becomes one of the strongest carries once properly equipped. Pairing her with a support hero, particularly the Priest, helps smooth out the leveling process.

S Tier

Priest

The Priest is the premier support hero and fits into almost every powerful team composition.

While she won’t out-damage dedicated DPS heroes, the Priest dramatically increases the effectiveness of nearly every team.

A Tier

Hunter
