LEC 2025 Spring Split

Following the Winter Split, the Spring Split will begin sometime around late March or the beginning of April 2025. Along with the prize pool and distribution, Riot Games has not announced the start dates yet. However, the anticipated structure of previous years suggests constant matches over the weekends. The best part is that the finalists of this split will get the opportunity to go to the 2025 Mid-Season Invitational (MSI).

LEC 2025 Spring Split will have a single round-robin league format. The ten teams participating will engage in nine matches each with all games being best of three series (Bo3).

After the regular season, the top six teams will then compete in a double-elimination bracket playoff stage. All tournament matches in the playoffs will be best-of-five (Bo5) series. The top four seeded teams from the regular season will move to the Upper Bracket while the fifth and sixth will go into the Lower Bracket.

LEC 2025 Summer Split

After the Spring Split comes the LEC 2025 Summer Split, which will start around June until August of 2025. The regular season features a format of two groups of five teams. Each group will have a round-robin format where every team plays four matches, all of them being best-of-three (Bo3) series. The top four placing teams of each group will qualify for the playoffs, with the first two seeded directly into the Upper Bracket. Meanwhile, the first and second teams into the Lower Bracket. Elimination of teams will also be doubled.

The first round of the Lower Bracket will feature best-of-three matches before transforming into a best-of-five (Bo5) series for the rest of the rounds. This structure further increases the competitiveness to qualify for the 2025 League of Legends World Championship. The top three teams from the playoffs will qualify for this tournament.
