But hey, in case you want to find out more and will take some spoilers, read on and we will explain everything.
How Muzan Defeated?
Remember how Tanjiro’s whole mission was to turn Nezuko back into a human? Well, that finally happens in Chapter 196! It’s a sign that the demon king Muzan is about to get what’s coming to him.
The demon slayers, led by the powerful Hashira, throw everything they have at Muzan. They even get some help from a secret plan cooked up by Tamayo to weaken him first. Muzan gets desperate and tries to suck Tanjiro right into his demon body! But just as the sun starts to rise, giving demons a major sunburn, some of the strongest slayers manage to hold Muzan down.
Muzan tries to make a break for it to avoid the deadly sunlight, but Tanjiro pulls a surprise attack from the inside! Chapter 200 starts with Muzan finally being destroyed, but wait, there’s more! Tanjiro actually turns into a demon himself for a bit. It’s a close call, but with the help of his friends, he fights off the demon transformation and becomes human again. Phew! That was a wild ride, but in the end, Muzan is gone for good!
How does Demon Slayer End?
Let’s skip to a few months after that intense battle with Muzan. Tanjiro almost turned into a demon himself, but luckily he pulled through! Though that fight left him with some permanent scars – about his arm and eye. But hey, at least Nezuko is fully human again!
Yushiro, Tamayo’s assistant, thinks Tanjiro is fortunate to be alive. Apparently, his demon stuff was even stronger than Nezuko’s or Muzan’s, which helped him fight it off. Tanjiro feels awful about all the friends they lost and how much everyone sacrificed. He really doesn’t want Yushiro to die too, since he’s the last link to Tamayo. But Yushiro just leaves without a word, guess he’s still processing everything.
With Muzan gone, there’s no more need for the Demon Slayer Corps. The leader disbands the whole organization. It’s a sad moment for everyone, especially the last two Hashira, Giyu and Sanemi. They’ve lost so many comrades, it’s hard to imagine life without the demon slayers.
The story ends with a hopeful vibe though. We see Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, and Inosuke reuniting, hinting at a brighter future. Even though their demon-slaying days are over, they get to move forward and live normal lives. And the last picture shows modern-day Japan, which means demons are a thing of the past!
Who Dies and Who Survived?
That battle with the Muzan was brutal! The demon slayers took a ton of losses, it was almost like the whole crew got wiped out. But hey, at least some tough guys got through! The other Demon Slayers are Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, Inosuke, Sanemi, Giyu, Kanao and Tengen. These survivors are gonna be reuniting the demon slayers pack, and it’s a bittersweet moment for those Demonslayers that missed out, but all these sacrifices will never be forgotten.
Is the Ending Good?
The ending was totally awesome! Every episode gives you chills because of the intense battle, especially when Muzan was finally defeated and Tanjiro achieved his dream to make his sister Nezuko human again. The anime wasn’t a walk in the park. The characters went through a lot of pain and loss to keep everyone safe from demons. Wrapping up a story like that is super tough, but Demon Slayer ends on a hopeful note. It reminds us that all the sacrifices they made were worth it for a brighter future.
