The first Immortals team is out, and FC 25 has now moved into Team 2 with higher expectations and six leaked Icon SBCs already causing a stir. While last week’s content didn’t completely miss, it lacked the excitement players hoped for. Now, attention shifts to a brand-new set of content, highlighted by the final Fc 25 EVOs update—taking Become Immortal cards to the Icon tier with three PlayStyle+ upgrades.

Thursday SBCs: Dovbyk, Mega Packs, and the 100-Player Gamble

Thursday’s content set the stage for what was to come. It featured a Serie A Player of the Month SBC—Dovbyk from Roma—offering excellent stats in physicality, shooting, and pace. Priced at 70,000 coins, it provides a unique combo of Aerial and Low Driven+ with Advanced Forward+—a rare mix for an attacker.

Additionally, marquee matchups delivered the usual tradable Mega Pack, and the limited-time 100-Player Upgrade SBC returned. This pack includes 50 Gold Commons and 50 Gold Rares, with a guaranteed 84×10 and at least one 85+. However, priced at 67,000 coins and requiring two high-rated squads, it feels like a high-risk SBC with low return. Still, it’s an efficient way to stock the club with Golds ahead of today’s 80+ player picks.

Objectives Refresh, EVO Progress, and Level 40 Decisions

Seasonal and weekly objectives refreshed, pushing players closer to level 40. The Alois Wavering pick at level 40 may not be worth it with Team of the Season around the corner. Level 35’s pick—Captivia—stands out, especially as an alternative to Theo Hernández at LB, with his Anticipate+ proving valuable.

Yesterday offered a solid opportunity to progress Fc 25 EVOs, especially the Become Immortal line. One more EVO step takes these cards to 92-rated Icon tier. For example, Christian Eriksen is nearly there, ready to receive his final upgrade in today’s evolution drop.

Team 2 in Packs: Icon Heavy and High Hopes

The new batch of Icons entering packs brings more big names and stronger cards compared to Team 1. Pelé, Eusébio, and Mia Hamm headline the list, with most mid-to-top-tier cards offering competitive stats and three PlayStyle+ abilities. Buffon enters the pack pool with 98 Diving and 97 Reflexes, challenging Van der Sar’s popularity. Rooney, Maldini, Jarzinho, and Del Piero headline the middle tier, while Matus and Rooney’s Little Bro versions look tailor-made for Fc 25 EVOs.

Some icons, however, received questionable PlayStyle+ choices. Mia Hamm lacks Finesse+, while Jarzinho’s Trickster+ is less impactful. Buffon needs Footwork to truly compete, and Beasley’s downgrade in abilities makes his card less desirable. Still, players like Kelly Smith, Zico, and Abily fill important meta roles and should hold solid value depending on pack weight.

SBC Leaks and Value Expectations

Today’s drop will likely include only two Icon SBCs. The most likely candidates appear to be Eusébio and Sawa—both with three PlayStyle+ traits. But pricing will determine player engagement. High coin requirements could drive many to skip them, especially with elite strikers already accessible through EVOs and past SBCs.

Alongside those, flashback SBCs for Marco Reus and Marcos Alonso are rumored. Reus, now at the tail end of his career, remains a fan-favorite, and if priced low, could be today’s best value content. Additional SBCs for players like Baby Zico, Maldini, Baressi, and Luis Hernández also surfaced, but feedback on leaked stats has been mixed. Zico and Baressi’s stats in particular have raised concerns. Baressi offers Anticipate+, Aerial+, and Block+, with 97 Defending—comparable to Maldini—but may need a low price to gain traction.
