Camellya Stats by Level:

Level: 1 HP: 826 ATK: 36 DEF: 95 Energy: 125

Wuthering Waves Ultimate Camellya Guide: Camellya is a powerful 5★ Havoc character known for her strong AoE and burst damage. Her playstyle revolves around “Blossom Mode” and “Budding Mode,” enhancing her vine-based attacks. With high damage scaling and elegant design, she excels in clearing groups of enemies efficiently.

How to Obtain Camellya

To acquire Camellya, players needed to participate in the limited-time “End of Lost Trail” character event convene, which was available from November 14 to December 12, 2024. During this period, Camellya was not obtainable through the standard character banner and could only be summoned during this specific timeframe.

Camellya’s Kit and Abilities

Camellya Abilities

Basic Attack – Dimming Brush

Camellya’s Basic Attack chain hits up to 5 times with Havoc DMG, and after the 3rd hit or using her Heavy Attack (Pruning), you can hold the button to keep striking.
Her 4th hit flows directly into the 5th.

Pruning is her stamina-based Heavy Attack, while her mid-air and Dodge Counter attacks also deal Havoc DMG.

Resonance Skill – Valse of Bloom and Blight

Camellya’s Crimson Blossom deals Havoc DMG and activates Blossom Mode, even in mid-air.

While in Blossom Mode, she’s suspended on vines and can’t move, but her attacks change: her Basic and Heavy Attacks become a 4-hit combo called Vining Waltz.
At Stage 3, holding the button adds Blazing Waltz before the final hit.
Her Dodge Counter and Resonance Skill also change, and casting Floral Ravage or using certain moves ends the mode.
Attacks in the air consume stamina, and staying suspended uses stamina over time.

Resonance Liberation – Embers of Corolla

Camellya strikes the target with a Havoc DMG attack, which can also be used while airborne.

Forte Circuit – Vegetative Universe

Camellya builds up Crimson Pistils by using various attacks, which fuels her core mechanics. Spending Pistils boosts Energy Regen and generates Crimson Buds, which enhance her Ephemeral skill. Once Concerto Energy is full, she can cast Ephemeral, dealing Havoc DMG and entering Budding Mode.
In Budding Mode:

  • Her main attacks deal 50% more damage.
  • Consumed Crimson Buds further increase that bonus (up to +50%).
  • She can’t gain more Buds or Pistils, and Energy Regen is disabled.
  • Budding Mode ends when she’s swapped out or runs out of Pistils.

  • Crimson Pistils cap at 100 and are instantly restored by her Intro Skill or Ephemeral use.

    Intro Skill – Everblooming Flower

Hits the enemy and deals Havoc DMG.

    Outro Skill – Twining

Camellya strikes the target, dealing Havoc DMG equal to 329% of her ATK. After using her Forte Circuit, Ephemeral, her next Outro Skill Twining also hits with extra Havoc DMG equal to 459% of her ATK.

    Camellya Passive Abilities

    Inherent Skill – Seedbed

Increase Havoc DMG Bonus by 15%. Heavy Attack Pruning is now counted as Basic Attack DMG.

    Inherent Skill – Epiphyte

Boost Havoc DMG Bonus by 15%. Basic Attack and Basic Attack Vining Waltz are now harder to interrupt.

    Optimal Gameplay Loop

To maximize Camellya’s potential, follow this structured attack cycle:

Activate her Resonance Skill to enter Blossom Mode, allowing her to perform aerial attacks and generate Concerto Energy.
Use Basic Attacks to deplete her Forte Gauge, building Concerto Energy in the process.
Once Concerto Energy is full, use Ephemeral to enter Budding Mode.
Perform Basic Attacks while in Budding Mode until all Crimson Buds are depleted.
Use Resonance Liberation when available to deal burst Havoc damage.
Repeat the cycle by refilling her Forte Gauge with her Intro Skill or normal energy regeneration.

By carefully managing her Crimson Pistils, Concerto Energy, and Crimson Buds, players can sustain her powerful damage output and optimize her attack rotations for maximum effectiveness.

    Skill Leveling Priority

    Camellya Skills Priority

Basic Attack Forte Circuit Resonance Skill Resonance Liberation Intro Skill

Prioritize skills that boost her Blossom and Budding Modes for maximum damage. Focus on abilities that directly enhance her combat effectiveness.

    Resonance Skill – Highest Priority

Why prioritize? It directly improves her main damage source and enhances her Blossom Mode effectiveness.

Benefits of leveling up: Increases damage scaling of Basic Attacks and Ephemeral’s burst damage, both of which are crucial for high DPS.

    Forte Circuit – Second Priority

Why second priority? It enhances Ephemeral, a key skill for Budding Mode burst damage.

Benefits of leveling up: Increases damage multiplier for Ephemeral, further amplifying her high-damage phases.

    Resonance Liberation – Third Priority

Why third priority? It provides a high burst damage option, but is not used as frequently as her Basic Attacks and Ephemeral.

Benefits of leveling up: Increases nuke damage, making it a strong finisher or high-impact skill.

    Basic Attack – Low Priority

Why low priority? Her damage is skill-dependent, and this upgrade does not affect her enhanced attack states.

Benefits of leveling up: Minor improvements to raw attack damage, but not a major boost to her main damage rotation.

    Intro Skill – Lowest Priority

Why lowest priority? It does not increase her damage, only restores Crimson Pistils.

Benefits of leveling up: Faster Forte Gauge recovery, but not impactful for DPS.

    Best Weapons

Camellya benefits from weapons that enhance Crit Rate, Crit DMG, ATK, or Basic Attack DMG, as these directly improve her damage output. Her signature weapon, Red Spring, is the best option due to its tailored bonuses, but there are several strong alternatives, including both premium and F2P-friendly choices.

    Red Spring (Best-in-Slot)

Red Spring is Camellya’s best weapon, boosting Crit Rate and ATK while greatly enhancing Basic Attack DMG—up to 80% at R1 with stacks. Its passive activates through Basic Attacks and Concerto use but resets when she leaves the field, making it ideal for her on-field playstyle.

    Emerald of Genesis (Versatile Alternative)

Emerald of Genesis is a solid F2P option with Crit Rate and 12.8% Energy Regen. It boosts ATK by up to 12% after using Resonance Skills, fitting well into Camellya’s rotation. Though weaker in raw damage than Blazing Brilliance, it offers better sustain.

    Somnoire Anchor (Best F2P Option)

Somnoire Anchor is a strong event F2P weapon with high ATK and passive Crit Rate. It grants up to 10 stacks of “Hiss,” boosting ATK by 2% each and 6% Crit Rate at max stacks—perfect for Camellya’s long on-field combos. Its high base ATK also pairs well with her stats.

    Blazing Brilliance (Strong Stat Stick)

Blazing Brilliance is a solid stat stick for Camellya, offering ATK and Crit DMG. While its passive isn’t ideal for her kit, it outperforms Emerald of Genesis at higher refinements. At R1, both are about equal in value.

    Lumingloss (Budget-Friendly Option)

Lumingloss boosts ATK% and enhances Basic/Heavy Attack DMG, making it a decent budget option. However, it’s outclassed by Somnoire Anchor and Emerald of Genesis overall.

Commando of Conviction (Niche ATK Buff)

Commando of Conviction grants a 15% ATK bonus upon using Camellya’s Intro Skill. While the flat ATK increase is beneficial, it is not as impactful as other weapons that offer Crit Rate, Crit DMG, or stronger damage multipliers.

    Best Echoes

    Sun-Sinking Eclipse

Sun-Sinking Eclipse is Camellya’s strongest Echo Set, providing substantial Havoc DMG bonuses that directly enhance her damage.

Main Echo: Crownless is the best with Sun-Sinking Eclipse, boosting Havoc and Resonance Skill DMG. Its 15s buff favors jump-cancel playstyles for max value.

    Sun-Sinking Eclipse

Sun-Sinking Eclipse is Camellya’s best set, boosting Havoc DMG by up to 40%. Its bonuses align perfectly with her frequent Basic and Heavy Attacks.

Alternative for Sun-Sinking Eclipse: Dreamless is a simple, high-Havoc DMG option—ideal for low-field-time or no-jump-cancel playstyles.

    Lingering Tunes

Lingering Tunes is a solid alternative to Sun-Sinking Eclipse, boosting ATK% that grows with time on-field—best for sustained DPS and shorter fights.

Main Echo: Mech Abomination is the best Main Echo when using the Lingering Tunes set. It increases Camellya’s ATK and boosts her Outro Skill DMG.

It also deals Electro DMG when triggered, providing some additional elemental damage.

Camellya’s optimal Echo setup focuses on maximizing Havoc DMG, Crit Rate, Crit DMG, ATK, and Basic Attack DMG. Her ideal cost pattern is 4-3-3-1-1, ensuring the best balance of damage output and utility.

    Optimal Echo Stats

    4-Cost Echo (Main Echo)

Prioritize Crit DMG or Crit Rate, depending on your current Crit Ratio balance.
If using a Crit Rate weapon like Red Spring or Emerald of Genesis, use Crit DMG as the main stat.
If using a non-Crit Rate weapon, use Crit Rate to maintain a balanced ratio.

    3-Cost Echoes

Prioritize Havoc DMG Bonus for maximum damage scaling.
If using Red Spring and Sun-Sinking Eclipse, one Havoc DMG Echo and one ATK% Echo can be used for a balanced setup.

    1-Cost Echo

Prioritize ATK% to further enhance damage.

    Substat Priorities

Crit Rate & Crit DMG: Aim for at least 70% Crit Rate for consistent damage output.
Basic ATK DMG Bonus: Highly valuable, especially if not using Red Spring.
ATK%: Helps scale her overall damage.
Energy Regeneration: Useful for more frequent Resonance Liberation activations.
Flat ATK: A secondary priority after Crit and ATK%.

    Best Team Compositions

Camellya’s teams should boost her Basic Attack DMG. Sanhua is key for amplifying this before switching to Camellya. The last slot is best for a healer or buffer for support.

    Best Team Compositions for Camellya

    Camellya Hypercarry Team (Best Team)

This team maximizes Camellya’s personal damage output by surrounding her with strong buffers and supports.

    Camellya (Main DPS)

Takes the most field time, dealing enhanced Basic Attack DMG.

    Sanhua (Sub-DPS/Buffer)

Buffs Basic Attack DMG using her Outro Skill. She has low field time requirements, making her an efficient off-field support.

    Shorekeeper (Support/Healer)

Provides healing, buffs, and consistent off-field damage while also offering Crit Rate and Crit DMG buffs.
Her Resonance Liberation cooldown aligns with Camellya’s, making her a strong synergy pick.

    Camellya F2P Team (Budget-Friendly)

A more accessible alternative for players without premium characters.

    Camellya (Main DPS)

    Core damage dealer.

    Sanhua (Sub-DPS/Buffer)

    Buffs Camellya’s Basic Attack DMG.

    Verina (Support/Healer)

Provides party-wide buffs and healing, though her damage amplification is weaker than Shorekeeper’s. If Verina is well-invested, she can outperform Shorekeeper, while also requiring less field time.

Baizhi is an alternative healer who provides ATK buffs. A good option for players without Shorekeeper or Verina.

    Alternative Team Options

    Danjin (Sub-DPS)

Provides a Havoc DMG bonus with her Outro Skill and ATK buffs at S6. She is an alternative to Sanhua, though her Havoc buff is weaker than Sanhua’s general Basic Attack amplify effect.

    Havoc Rover (Sub-DPS)

Viable option in quick swap teams. At S6, Havoc Rover can shred Havoc resistance, making them a good pick.

    Yinlin (Sub-DPS)

Can be used, but functions best in quick swap teams where she can be swapped in and out efficiently.

    Youhu (Support)

Provides supportive utility, though not as effective as Sanhua or Shorekeeper.

    Camellya’s Resonance Chain (Duplicates)

Camellya’s Resonance Chain significantly enhances her damage output and utility, with each Sequence Node improving her skills or passive abilities. Investing in her Resonance Chain strengthens her Blossom Mode, Budding Mode, and overall DPS potential.

    Weaknesses

    Limited Mobility

Camellya cannot move while in Blossom Mode and consumes stamina when repositioning, making her vulnerable to fast-moving enemies or mechanics that require constant dodging.

    Vulnerability to Fast Enemies

Enemies that move quickly or dodge attacks can escape her damage radius, reducing her effectiveness in certain encounters.

    Field Time Dependency

She requires extended on-field time to maximize her damage, as Budding Mode is lost when swapping out. This makes her less flexible in quick-swap teams and demands careful team-building.

    Stamina Management

Her Blossom Mode consumes stamina, which can limit her ability to perform extended rotations if not properly managed.

    Frequently Asked Questions (F.A.Q)

What is the best team rotation for Camellya?

To maximize Camellya’s damage, build teams that apply Basic Attack buffs from supports before swapping to her. Avoid quick-swapping Sanhua, as her buff drops off. Ensure Sanhua and Shorekeeper have enough Energy to trigger Resonance Liberation before switching to Camellya.

What is the combo for Camellya?

Camellya’s core combo revolves around filling and spending her Forte and Concerto gauges. Start with her intro skill to fill Forte, then use basic attacks and her skill Valse of Bloom and Blight to drain it while building Concerto.

Is Resonance Chain important for Camellya?

Yes, Camellya’s Resonance Chain—especially her Forte Circuit—is a key part of her kit. It’s what really pushes her damage potential, so upgrading it should be a priority. Her Ephemeral skill, tied to the Resonance Skill, makes up a big chunk of her overall DPS, so investing in it pays off.
