Best Brigantine loadout in Skull and Bones

The Brigantine is a powerful DPS ship that is meant to hit enemies fast and hard. Because of this, you will want to play a bit more aggressively with this ship versus others like the Bombardier. Let’s break this ship down and go over its perks, abilities, and what weapons you should use on it.

Hullbreaker Brigantine perks and abilities

The Hullbreaker Brigantine is a medium ship with 40,000 Hull Health. Its Brace Strength is 8,000 and its top speed is 18kn. The Brigantine is a rank-five ship that can hold up to five different weapons and five different furniture items.

This ship has the Bullhorn perk which increases damage from ramming by 45%, reduces the duration of the torn sails effect by 80%, and applies the flooded effect to an enemy ship upon ramming. These abilities work great for those who want to play aggressively, ramming other ships during battle and striking hard with close-range weapons.

Best Hullbreaker Brigantine weapons

Starting with the bow, you will want to have a hard-hitting weapon like Scurlock’s Long Nines or the Long Gun V. Both weapons have high DPS and make for great pursuit weapons. They are also a good way to start the fight by sniping weak points before ramming.

For the broadsides, you will want Flooding Demi-Cannons III or Fire Bombard II. Both weapons can be used at close range. The choice really depends on whether you want to deal explosive and fire damage or increase the amount of flood damage you will be doing.

At the stern, Rahma’s Legacy or another Long Gun V. Again, this depends on the playstyle you are going for. If you prefer torpedos, go with Rahma’s Legacy but if you want more range and easier method of firing, go with the long gun.

Finally, for the auxiliary section, you will want the Leopold II Mortar. This is a powerful weapon that is easy to strike foes with. You can put a rocket here but that will ultimately deal less damage unless you manage to hit with them all and that isn’t what we are going for.
