And that is great because we’re going to tell you about the best Kar98K Loadout in Warzone Season 5. 

We know that Kar98 is having its golden days, especially on the Verdansk map. Later on, it lost its top spot to other snipers. But even though it’s no longer the strongest, it’s still one of the sniper weapons you can rely on the most. Especially if you use the loadouts we’ll talk about shortly.

Your expectations from a sniper rifle can vary depending on your playstyle. It’s known that it will perform great when combined with a fast and powerful SMG. We don’t know how it will perform in Warzone 2 but let’s take a look at the best Kar98K builds in Warzone Season 5.

Best Kar98K Loadout in Warzone

As we said in our article about the best SMGs in Warzone, it doesn’t matter how strong snipers are per se. The only thing that matters is what weapons you combine them with and develop your playstyle accordingly.

Fortunately, the Kar98K has been in the game for some time now, so it’s pretty easy to use. If you play with an SMG like the PPSH-41, you can stay away from your opponents and also have an advantage in close combat. But if you combine it with a medium-range weapon like the Armaguerra 43, you might’ve to avoid close combat altogether.

The devastating damage of the Kar98 and the fact that it destroys your opponent’s armor on hit is great. Be sure to take advantage of it and put pressure on your opponents. You don’t have to hit every shot, the important thing is to remind them that there’s a dangerous sniper on the map.

Best Kar98K Loadout – Original Recipe

As we mentioned at the beginning of the article, the great version of Kar98K was discovered in the early days of Verdansk. Its great accuracy, high damage power, and no-range effect made it the best sniper in the game. These characteristics also apply in Caldera, because you can trust the original build.

It’s obvious that it’s one of the best Kar98K loadouts, but isn’t there something wrong with it? Unfortunately, there’s and it can be a bit risky due to the dynamics of Caldera. You’ll have to sacrifice mobility if you use the loadout below.

One of the main differences between Verdansk and Caldera is that you’ve to be much more active on the new map. So this Kar98K mightn’t be the best choice, but hey – we have a solution. If you can use this weapon well, you won’t even have to move your muscle against your enemies.

Best Kar98K Loadout – Loud and Effective

If you remember the days of Verdansk, all the best builds used Monolithic Suppressor. We already used it in the original recipe above. In this version of Kar98k, you’ll have to give that up to gain more mobility.

This Kar98K loadout could be a great option to accommodate the Caldera’s fast nature. This is because you’ll be able to move faster as well as switch guns faster. To achieve this, it’s not that important to reduce your sphere of influence a bit.

So what makes it one of the best Kar98K loadouts? Because it can be a great duo with any SMG that’s effective at close range. Especially if your gameplay is purely speed-oriented. Take your shot, didn’t it hit? Grab your SMG and get close to your opponent and take them down.

Best Kar98K Loadout – Thermal Vision

You know the thermal/night vision optics, which never became Warzone’s meta except for very short periods of time. We’re in one of those short periods again, because this optic takes you a few steps further in the sunny and yellow-looking lands of the Caldera.

Don’t be fooled by the fact that this Kar98K has the shortest distance on this list. Thanks to its thermal vision, you’ll be able to see your opponents more clearly and hunt them comfortably. Besides, this weapon is very easy to control. If you have good aim, it’ll be easy to hit the enemies you want with a headshot or a flick.
