How to catch Iron Crown in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet The Indigo Disk DLC

To catch Iron Crown in Pokemon Indigo Disk, youmust complete Perrin’s Quest. Her quest in the Indigo Disk DLC becomes available after finishing her quest in the Kitakami region. In the second part of the DLC, you need to complete the Blueberry Pokedex. This can only be done in the Terarium of Blueberry Academy and by catching the many legendary Pokemon from the DLC.

Once you have completed the Pokedex, return to Perrin and she will give you a photo that shows the location of Iron Crown. This is also the same method used to find Iron Boulder. Both Pokemon are exclusive to Pokemon Violet. In Pokemon Scarlet, you will get Gouging Fire and Raging Bolt.

To find Iron Crown, start by going back to the Paldea region. Fly to Zero Gate and enter the research station. From there, make your way through the research station to the top of Area Zero. Once you are outside, locate the fence to your left that runs along the large hole between town boulders.

Jump down the hole and you will land in a cave. Iron Crown will be waiting for you inside this cave near the cliff. You might want to have the fly ability for Miraidon to get out of here.

How to catch Iron Crown

To catch Iron Crown, start by interacting with the Pokemon. This will initiate a battle. Iron Crown is a steel and psychic-type Pokemon so bringing a fire-type or ghost-type will help with dealing damage to it. False Swipe is a good move to have to weaken Iron Crown and prevent it from fainting. After that, use Ultra Balls for the best chance of catching it. Timer Balls work as well if the battle drags out for a long time. Of course, you can also use a Master Ball to make things go quicker.
