Evolving your Pokémon is one of the best ways to get them stronger, but it’s not always a straightforward task.
With over 200 Pokémon to find and collect in the Blueberry Pokédex, it can seem like a daunting task to catch them all. While you’re working your way up to fight the Indigo Disk Elite Four, you will be able to come across plenty to fill out your Pokédex. However, some need to be evolved, instead. How do you evolve Magmar into Magmortar? We’re here to show you.
How to evolve Magmar
To evolve your Magmar into a Magmortar, you need to trade the Pokémon while they are holding the Magmarizer item. Unfortunately, there’s no way to get Magmortar by leveling up Magmar. You need to use the trading method to get them.
Luckily, it’s easy to do. Simply head into your inventory and select the Magmarizer evolution item from the list. Select Give to Pokémon, and give it to the Magmar you want to evolve.
Then, all that’s left to do is to trade the Pokémon with another player. We recommend trading with a buddy who will trade the newly evolved Magmortar back to you. However, other players are also trying to get a Magmortar, and you can trade with them for the same results.
✓Final Evolution
Magmortar is the final evolution in the line of Pokémon, starting with Magby. Magby evolves into Magmar when reaching level 30, but the only way to get a Magmortar is the trade a Magmar while it holds the Magmarizer.
How to get a Magmarizer
You will need to have the Magmarizer to evolve Magmar, and the easiest way to get it is to purchase it from the Blueberry Academy School Store. Head up to the School Store level at the main lobby, and speak to the shopkeeper.
You can purchase a Magmarizer from the shopkeeper for 250 BP. Make sure you’re completing Blueberry Quests to earn as many Blueberry Points, or BP, as you can.
