This powerful Aspect for the Sorcerer class is highly sought after by players.
Aspects are one of the most important parts of your character build in Diablo 4. There are tons of great Aspects, including the best Aspect for each class in Season 3. Many of them you can find in the dungeons all across Sanctuary. However, the impressive Gravitational Aspect is a bit more challenging to obtain. How do you get the Gravitational Aspect in Season 3? We’re here to show you how.
Where is the Gravitational Aspect in Diablo 4 – Gravitational Aspect Location
The only way to get the Gravitational Aspect in Diablo 4 is to extract it from Legendary Gear. That means you need to find it in random Legendary item drops, and then extract it from them to use it. Sadly, there is no dungeon that you can play through to unlock it in the Codex of Power.
This Aspect specifically will be attached toOne-Handed Weapons, Two-Handed Weapons, Gloves, Rings, and Amulet item types. You won’t be able to find it on other gear types, just as you won’t be able to apply it to other types of gear.
How to farm Gravitational Aspect in Diablo 4
There are several ways to farm Legendary gear in Diablo 4, so for Season 3 we recommend these activities if you’re trying to get this Aspect:
- Nightmare Dungeons
- Trade Murmuring Obols
- Helltide Events
However, running through Nightmare Dungeons is always a good bet for plenty of Legendaries. Make sure you’re doing the best dungeons for loot, though. You can also head to the Purveyor of Curiosities and trade your Murming Obols for Legendary items, which have a chance to have the Gravitational Aspect on them. Make sure to only trade for the item types the Aspect appears on!
Image taken by VideogamerHelltides are another great spot to farm for great gear, as these zones are filled with Elite enemies. They’ll drop plenty of great loot when defeated. There are also plenty of Tortured Gift chests to open in the Helltides, which contain gear that could hold the Gravitational Aspect.
While these are the most surefire ways to maximize your chance of getting the Aspect, know that because it’s a random drop it could take a while. You’ll need to grind a bit before finding it. Make sure to stay in World Tier 3 or World Tier 4, as well. You can find it on the lower ones, but it’s highly unlikely.
Sadly, Blood Harvest events from Season 2 are gone, so we recommend Nightmare Dungeons as the best option.
✓A sadly gone method
During Season 1 of Diablo 4, the Gravitational Aspect was available as a reward for completing Chapter 4 of the Season Journey. Now that Season 1 is over, it’s no longer available that way.
Once you’ve got your hands on a piece of gear with the Aspect, you can either choose to keep the gear it came on or head to the NPC Occultist to extract it, at the cost of sacrificing the Legendary. Be aware that you can only apply it to another item once – the Aspect will disappear if you try to extract it again.
I highly recommend imprinting it on a Two-handed Weapon, which will increase its power by 100%. However, imprinting the Aspect on an Amulet increases its power by 50%. This is a good backup if you don’t have a weapon you want to put it on.
Gravitational Aspect Effects and Builds
The Gravitational Aspect is an Offensive Legendary Aspect that makes it so Ball Lightning orbits around you, but its damage is decreased by 10 to 20%. This Aspect can only be used by the Sorcerer Class, as mentioned above.
Sadly, Barbarians, Druids, Necromancers, and Rogues have no use for this Aspect.
The Gravitational Aspect is great for any build that focuses on lightning skills, including the Lightning Sorcerer build. This build is incredible for the endgame of Diablo 4, and you’ll be able to take down enemies and bosses with ease.
That’s all you need to know about the Gravitational Aspect in Diablo 4. Make sure to check out our Season 3 class tier list so you can tackle the endgame events with ease.
