To catch Froakie, you must upgrade the Coastal Biome of the Terrarium by contributing 3,000 Blueberry Points (BP) to the Terarium Club. This is done using the League Club Room computer. With the biome upgraded, you will see other Pokemon like Popplio and Bulbasaur.

Froakie likes to appear in the northern section of the Coastal Biome near the Coastal Plaza. This Pokemon doesn’t tend to appear on beaches and rather likes to appear in grassy areas around the plaza. Keep this in mind when searching for Froakie in the wild.

You will encounter Froakie between levels 50 and 70. Be sure to bring a Pokemon that knows the move False Swipe to avoid making Froakie faint in battle.

To evolve Froakie, you simply need to level it up. Froakie will evolve into Frogadier at level 16. Frogadier will then evolve into Greninja at level 36. Since you will catch a Froakie above these levels, you just need to make Froakie level up once to get Frogadier. You then need to level up Frogadier once to get Greninja.

Froakie starts as a water-type Pokemon and evolves into a water and dark-type Pokemon. Greninja is weak to electric, grass, fighting, bug, and fairy-type moves. This Pokemon is resistant to fire, water, ice, ghost, dark, and steel-type moves.

  • Torrent – When Hp is below 33% its maximum, the power of water-type moves is increased by 50%
