Where do you find Spoink in Scarlet and Violet?

Spoink is found rather early in the game, specifically in the South Province (Area 3). This area is accessible during the treasure hunt event after you leave Naranja Academy. Hence making the Spoink low-level and easier to catch due to the early game.

As for Grumpig, it is the final evolution of Spoink. This means that there’s no third tier of evolution, which automatically translates into less grinding. However, if all of this is too time-consuming and the player wants to rush the process of evolving Spoink into Grumpig, the best bet is to use Rare Candies found as rewards in Tera Raid Battles.

Final Thoughts

Grumpig is one of the more underrated alternatives for Psychic types in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, but when it can fill a great niche in one’s team, it performs well in battles as a special defensive-based Pokemon with a great move pool. Primarily its abilities support this, especially Thick Fat. Which raises resistance against Fire and Ice Type Moves.
