There are not many pregnancy cheats in The Sims 4 but they are all fairly worthwhile. Before typing in any cheats, make sure that you have the expansions enabled. Without them enabled, it may interfere with the base game.

Pregnancy trimester cheats

The following cheats allow you to skip through different trimesters or have your Sim go straight into labor.

  • sims.add_buff buff_pregnancy_trimester1
  • sims.add_buff buff_pregnancy_trimester2
  • sims.add_buff buff_pregnancy_trimester3
  • sims.add_buff buff_pregnancy_inlabor

Rewind your pregnancy

The cheats mentioned above allow you to also rewind your pregnancy. For instance, if you Sim is close to going into labor, you can type in the trimester 3 cheat to jump back to the start of the third trimester.

Pregnancy outcome cheats

If you want to have a specific number of babes, you can force your Sim into having twins or even triplets. This can be done using the following cheat:

  • pregnancy.force_offspring_count (Sim ID) (Number of offspring)

It is important to note that you do need the Sims’ ID to complete this cheat. To get the ID, use the following input:

  • sims.get_sim_id_by_name (input Sim’s full name)

Using the ID for your Sim, you can then use the offspring cheat to generate a specific number of babies. You can also influence the chance of having multiple children by using the Fertile Trait. You can give this trait to a Sim using the following code:

  • traits.equip_trait trait_fertile

If you want to influence the gender of the child, you can do so using the following methods:

  • Having a girl:
    • listen to pop music
    • eat strawberries
  • Having a boy:
    • listen to alternative music
    • eat carrots
