Though Madden 25 has put in a lot of effort to strengthen the other game modes, Ultimate Team reigns supreme in most EA Sports titles. With the newest NFL simulator finally here, there is reason to get excited about what promos the game will release. Madden Ultimate Team (MUT) always gives fun weekly promos for some time during the game’s life span. Here’s what we expect to be added over the course of the season.

Madden 25 promos

Now the game has launched, EA have revealed some of the promos that will be coming to Madden 25 Ultimate Team throughout the year. While there are bound to be more that haven’t been announced yet, we’ve got a few that have been confirmed, as well as some that we think will make a return from previous years.

Season of BOOM

Starting off the year with a brand-new promo, the Season of BOOM is focused on the biggest, most physical players in the game. Players can complete certain hard-hitting challenges to earn themselves some massive hitters to stick in their MUT rosters.

TOTW

Team of the Week is a lock to come to every Madden Ultimate Team, and this year is likely to be no different. It’s the one promo that has virtually been in every single game. Madden 25 will likely start soon with this set as the preseason has officially begun for the NFL. Madden 24 featured a Preseason TOTW as part of their promos list as well.

Team Builders

This is one that has already been announced. Madden 25 understands that players will want to build theme teams. We love the Carolina Panthers, so we will want to try and get as many good Panthers players on Ultimate Team as possible. The Team Builders set makes this doable for all 32 teams.

Team Captains

Along the same lines, we’ve already received confirmation that Team Captains will be returning, and many teams will be given an upgradeable captain card. This may be the best or most notable player on a team, but it’s one card that can grow with you as your team improves and as more sets are made available. This one has already been confirmed.

Legends

Legends is a recurring promo set in Madden Ultimate Team. This is the best way for EA Sports to bring in former players. It’s their way of adding superstar talents like Jerry Rice, Tom Brady, Marshall Faulk, Brian Urlacher, Deion Sanders, and more. There should be a lot of cards added through this MUT promo.

AKA

AKA is a relatively new promo to the MUT scene, but it immediately became a fan favorite. Sometimes, NFL players are known for their nicknames more than their actual names. This set pays homage to them and provides some really fun players. SuperCam instead of Cam Newton, Megatron instead of Calvin Johnson, and CMC instead of Christian McCaffrey, the cover star, are just a few possible examples.

Campus Heroes

Some NFL players never reach the heights they did in college, or at least they don’t become as notorious. The Campus Heroes set acknowledges those players and gives them cards based on their college stats. Young players are often featured, so Caleb Williams, Bryce Young, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Javonte Williams, and more could get cards here.

Madden 25 promo schedule

The official Madden 25 promo schedule has not yet been released since all promos are as yet unconfirmed. EA is very good about detailing a schedule and sticking to it. For example, TOTW was every Wednesday afternoon EST, and they rarely missed that window. We’ll update this guide with schedule information as it becomes available.

For now, the first week is confirmed to have the following content arriving between August 12 and August 18:
