A few hours into the game, you’ll have a chance to reunite with your hound, Mutt, and then get Pebbles back, but summoning both seems tied to the same button prompt.

How to whistle for your horse in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

To call your horse in Kingdom Come Deliverance, tap X on PC, triangle on PlayStation 5, and Y on Xbox Series X|S. It’s that simple. The confusion comes from the fact that you can call Mutt to your heel by holding down the same key or button. So, put simply, hold for Mutt, tap for your horse.

By pressing X, your horse will spawn in, typically behind Henry, and trot on over so you can mount and ride off into the Bohemian sunset, or get thrown off for pushing the steed too hard. You can call your horse at any point and from anywhere in Bohemia. If you abandon your horse for any reason, you can also find it back at the next named settlement you come across, typically near a trough near the tavern, if there is one.
