While you can make as many characters as you want in inZOI, you might want to save a preset of your favourite for later use. This is helpful if you want to further tinker with the design later, or if you have created yourself and want to play through different scenarios. However, saving your preset might feel a bit unintuitive until you see the process, so we’re here to help you out.

How to save your Zoi preset

You can save your character preset in two ways, depending if you want to save your Zoi locally or upload it to Canvas. If you go the second route, then other players can see your creations and download them for themselves. To start the process, you have to go to any form of character creation or editing in the game, including Character Studio, New Game, or by using a mirror while in-game.

✓ Saving through mirror

Note that using the mirror while in-game will allow you to upload your Zoi to Canvas only. You can’t use it to save the character locally.

How to save character locally:

After you’re done designing your Zoi, click on Zoi Presets. Captured by VideoGamer

Click Save to create a locally saved preset. Captured by VideoGamer

  1. Create your character in inZOI and complete the design (be as detailed as you wish).
  2. Once the design is complete, click on Zoi Presets on the right side of the screen and click Save.
  3. The Save Creation window will pop up. Click Save once more.

That’s it, now your newly designed character will appear on the right, along with other saved presets. You can load them and tinker with the design further at any time.

How to save character on Canvas:

You have to fill in the required fields before you’re able to upload to Canvas. Captured by VideoGamer
  1. First, make sure that you’ve created a Krafton ID account, through the inZOI Canvas website.
  2. Once again, finalize your inZOI character as before.
  3. With that done, click on Zoi Presets on the right side of the screen and click Save. If you’re in the game and using the mirror, click Upload to Canvas. Otherwise, when the Save Creation window opens, select Upload to Canvas there.
  4. A new window will open, where you can fill in the metadata about your character.
  5. Choose what you’re saving: a Zoi, face preset, our outfit.
  6. Fill in the required fields: a snapshot, a design name, and a short description.
  7. Click Upload to complete the process.

With this, your character will be uploaded to Canvas and other players can look and download it if they wish. Many players have used this method to upload some of the best presets to share with others. Just note that Error Code E04 can sometimes appear when you’re completing this process. This can sometimes happen if you’re using mods as part of your design, for example.
