What is Sigil Powder used for in Diablo 4?

Sigil Powder is one of the resources that you’ll use in Diablo 4. It’s used to craft Nightmare Sigils at the Occultist. But you won’t see any Sigil Powder until you unlock Nightmare Sigil crafting. This will be done again at the Occultist, and when you talk with him you’ll notice a new menu is unlocked. You’ll see the ability to craft a Nightmare Sigil, which are used to do Nightmare Dungeons. If you scroll through the list, you’ll see that you’ll need a larger amount of Sigil Powder to craft higher tier sigils.

How to get Sigil Powder

Now if you want to get more Sigil Powder, there is only one place to get it. You’ll have to have Nightmare Sigil crafting unlocked first off. Then you’ll need to have an excess of nightmare sigils. At the Occultist is another menu called Salvage Sigils. That’s right, just like breaking down gear for materials, breaking down nightmare sigils will yield Sigil Powder. Breaking down Sigils of higher tier will give you a more Sigil Powder.
