Epic Games released another free skin to Fortnite that can be easily obtained. It’s called Chord Kahele and it has both regular and LEGO Fortnite style. The skin can be earned by simply earning XP, which can be done in any mode. Furthermore, you have a limited time to earn it, as it’s set to expire on February 21, 2025. In this article, we will explain how to unlock the new Fortnite skin for free. By following the simple steps, you will add the cosmetic item to your locker and increase your skin collection.

Chord Kahele is another free skin in Fortnite

Epic has released dozens of free skins in Fortnite over the past seven years. Most of these skins can be obtained in just a couple of minutes, which is why default skins are so rare now. The game developer releases several free skins every chapter, and thanks to it, it’s possible to have a decent collection of cosmetics without spending a dime.

Chord Kahele is a mobile-exclusive skin you can earn by earning XP on Android or iOS. However, it’s important to note that Fortnite is only available in the European Union on iOS, while it’s available on Android worldwide. Due to this, you may not be able to unlock the free skin in every region.

To unlock the skin, these are the steps you need to take:

  • Download the Fortnite mobile app on your phone
  • Log in with your Epic Games account
  • Earn 100,000 XP

Its price and release date are currently unknown, but we expect it to come out in mid-2025.
