Why should you flip houses in House Flipper 2?

The simple answer to this is money. While you might look at the sky-high costs of each of these houses and wonder why you would want to buy them, renovating houses is the best way to make money in the game, although it can be pretty time-consuming.

It will take a lot of money to flip a house, as not only do you need to buy the house itself, but also brand-new furniture, wallpaper, flooring and more to make the house look nice. But when all is said and done, you’ll make a hefty profit when you eventually sell the house, so it’s definitely worth doing.

How to flip houses in House Flipper 2

Firstly, you’re going to need to buy a house. You won’t be able to do this immediately, but once you complete enough missions, you’ll get an email saying you can start renovating houses on your own. Once you can, press the tab to open the menu, select the Houses tab at the top, and then the shopping cart to see the available properties.

It can be tempting to buy the most expensive one you can afford but we recommend against it. You’ll need to spend a lot of money renovating the house, so blowing it all up front means you’ll be completely broke when it comes to doing it up. Start with something cheap and easy for your first house.

With your house bought, it’s time to head in. To start, it’s a good idea to spruce the place up a bit. Head around and start selling off items that you want to get rid of. Usually, these houses are full of broken or dirty furniture, so get rid of all of this, and you’ll make a decent amount of money from doing so. Once everything is sold, collect all the trash and clean up all the stains and you’re ready to start renovating.

It’s best to take the process room by room. Pick a room to start with, and stick with it until it’s finished. First, paint or wallpaper the walls, and put some new flooring down. Once that’s all done, you can start buying furniture. Focus on the important things first, i.e. beds in bedrooms, couches in living rooms, etc. When you have all the furniture you want, add in a few decorations here and there, like plants, posters, and knick-knacks. It might not seem important, but little things like this can help increase the sale value of the house.

When you’ve finished up with that room, you can head off to the next room to repeat the process, but we think it’s best to take a break here. Renovating a house takes a long time, and can become tiresome if you do it all in one go. Take a break to do some missions before coming back and doing another room or two. This gives you some time off from the house, as well as earning you a bit more money to spend buying furniture.

When you’ve completed every room in the house, it’s time to sell it. Go back to the Houses menu, click on the auction tab, and then put the house up for auction using the button at the bottom. Fingers crossed that your renovations paid off, and you should make a sizeable profit from your flip.

That’s it for our House Flipper 2 flipping guide. If you’re having trouble renovating your bathroom or kitchen because you don’t know how to tile walls and floors yet, our simple guide will tell you exactly what to do.
