There are plenty of new locations in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC for Elden Ring with one of them being the Finger Ruins of Dheo. The Finger Ruins is a massive location that can be found in the far northeastern section of the map. With that being said, it can prove to be quite difficult to reach this area if you don’t know what you are doing.
To reach the ruins, you must first get your hands on a specific emote. After that, you need to use the emote near a statue found in the back of the Shadow Keep. Once done, the route leading to the Finger Ruins will open. Let’s break down all the steps to reach this new location.

To reach the Finger Ruins of Dheo in Shadow of the Erdtree, you will first need to make your way to Bonny Village. This area is reached by going through the Moorth Ruins like you are going to the Cathedral of Manus Metyr and start Ymir’s questline. Once you are in the village, head north and jump the gap. Look for the white tree with the corpse under it to obtain the O’ Mother Gesture.
Once you have obtained the gesture, continue along the path to the Cathedral of Manus Metyr, stopping when you reach the Church District Highroad Site of Grace. From here, head northwest to the Church District Entrance Site of Grace and then progress through the Church District and up the elevator at the end to reach the Specimen Storehouse, Back Section Site of Grace.
Follow the route from the Storehouse, Back Section up the ladder. At the top, turn and run up the stairs. Continue through the storehouse and jump out the hole in the wall. Follow the scaffolding up to the Loft Site of Grace. From there, step on the elevator to ride it up to the rafters. Follow the path through the rafters, being mindful of the bats flying around.
When you get outside, take the elevator down and then follow the path down to another elevator. This will lead you to the Shadow Keep Back Gate Site of Grace. Go into the room with the statue next to this Site of Grace. Use the O’ Mother Gesture in front of the statue to make it move, revealing the route to Scaduview.
Now that you are in Scaduview, head east across the large bridge. Be careful of the Tree Sentinel bosses that appear. Continue along the eastern path through the Fingerstone Hills and then head south. Following this route, you will eventually reach the Finger Ruins of Dheo.
