The CAR-15 is your entry weapon into the world of Delta Force’s multiplayer. Nearly every Operator starts off with this assault rifle, and for good reason, it is a solid introductory gun though it’s very much a jack of all trades but master of none. If you’re new to Delta Force multiplayer, this CAR-15 loadout will help you master the gun for most scenarios.
You may lose some handling on the gun, but your aim and magazine make up for it. Image via VideoGamerBest Delta Force CAR-15 build
The CAR-15 currently doesn’t have many customization options as it’s meant to be an early introduction to the gunsmith features. Other weapons, like the M4A1 loadout have a lot of levels and modifications. Don’t expect the CAR-15 to dominate. But that’s not to say that it won’t be decent. It’s easily one of the best guns in Delta Force for beginners.

Control affects the recoil stat, which is where you want to manage your long-distance sprays. In the early game, slowly build up attachments that grant a combo of control into either stability or handling. Handling is important for moving around the map if you’re playing as an assault operator or support. Engineers and Recon will likely prefer the stability modifiers.
As you get to the late game, you’ll start losing some handling for attachments like the magazines. So it’s another reason you want to pump up those stats. The trade-off is worth it as more ammo is important for getting multi-kills, especially in Havoc mode.
As for the muzzle, the silencer is good for velocity and recoil control. You lose some more handling and stability, but the velocity helps track more distant targets on your first few rounds. Alternatively, you can opt for a recoil, stability, or handling-focused muzzle.
The Riser Optic is an excellent choice because it adds free handling to the CAR-15, though it does unlock rather late. Feel free to use whatever optic you want until you can secure the Riser. We also recommend a laser sight to further boost handling and therefore control, as it will help mitigate the handling losses on bigger magazines.
