Strikers are usually the most expensive players in FC 24 Career Mode, so it is important to know you are investing in a potential world-beater before splashing the cash. All of these guys are proven goalscorers, so their clubs won’t want to part ways with them unless they get a good offer. 

We are classing the best young players as anyone who is 23 years old or younger at the start of your FC 24 Career Mode save and are including anyone who has a base position of ST or CF. 

Erling Haaland – 91 Overall 

Erling Haaland isn’t just the best young ST around, he is one of the best players in the world. The FC 24 ratings reflect this by handing him the joint-highest rating in the game. Unfortunately, if you want to get hold of this goalscoring machine from Manchester City, it will cost you over £150 million! He also has the best growth potential in the game, alongside Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Jr, with a 94 POT. The Norwegian may well end up at Real Madrid with those two, which is a terrifying prospect!

Dusan Vlahovic – 84 Overall 

Dusan Vlahovic started last season strongly, but then injury hit, and after recovering from that he wasn’t able to reproduce the prolific goalscoring contributions we have grown accustomed to in recent years. The Juventus man is still one of the best strikers to purchase in FC 24 Career Mode, and like Haaland offers a big physical presence up top.

Lois Openda – 83 Overall

A familiar name to Ultimate Team players, Lois Openda has been shooting himself up the ratings over the last couple of seasons. Known for his lightning pace, he is great at bursting through defences. He also has a great leap on him, making him a surprising aerial threat!

Alexander Isak – 82 Overall 

When Alexander Isak is fit and firing he looks a very formidable forward. Newcastle have brought in a very fine striker to the club who will help them push for another high finish in the Premier League, and potentially go deep into Europe. At 6’4”, the Swede is another big unit, and it looks like we are going through a resurgence of top target men. 

Joao Felix – 81 Overall 

There is no doubting Joao Felix’s ability, but he is yet to find a team that suits his play style. A loan move to Barcelona may just have solved that issue! Very skillful in and around the box, his technical attributes mean he is just as good at building up the play in the final third as he is at finishing the chances. With five-star skill moves, he can always find a way out of tricky situations!
