Season 2 brought vampires to the game, including Vampiric Powers and Pact Armor. Season 2 also brought us the incredible endgame bosses that let you earn fantastic loot, including Uber Uniques. No season lasts forever, though, and the Season of Blood is no different. When does Season 2 of Diablo 4 end? We’re here to give you all the details.

When does Season 2 of Diablo 4 end?

Season 2 will be slightly longer than Season 1, the Season of the Malignant, which came in at 89 days. While Season 2 brought plenty of fun to Diablo 4’s endgame, fans are excited for new content to come with Season 3.

Season 3

While Season 3 is still a bit of a mystery, we do know that leaderboards will be coming to Diablo 4 with The Gauntlet weekly challenge dungeon and the Hall of Ancients. These leaderboards will reset weekly, except for the Hall of the Ancients, which keeps track of all gameplay.

What features will stop when Season 2 ends?

When Season 2 ends, there are gameplay elements that will go away with it. This includes being able to collect Pacts to make Vampiric Pact Armor, gaining new Vampiric Powers, and the Blood Harvest events that show up in Sanctuary. All Season 2 quests will also become unavailable, as they are exclusive to the Season of Blood. If you haven’t finished the quests yet, now is the time to do so. It is also the best time to earn all the Vampiric Powers you haven’t got to enjoy yet.

Luckily, there is plenty of content sticking around in the Eternal Realm. All five endgame bosses will be staying, including:

  • Echo of Duriel
  • Lord Zir
  • The Beast in the Ice
  • Grigoire
  • Echo of Varshan

Any seasonal character you made will also be completely transferred over to the Eternal Realm, so you won’t lose any of your progression there.
