Quickly burns through Quickset cover and burns enemies in contact with it.Battle Hardened – Has better resistance to slowing effects from fractures and class gear.
You’ll notice that each character has a role type that offers a distinct buff, as follows:
- Assault – Faster aiming movement speed. Assaults can also deploy with grenade launchers and stim packs in Havoc Warfare mode.
- Support – Rescue allies faster and grants access to ammo or med crates in Havoc Warfare.
- Recon – Can use the radio to recon the map in Tactical Turmoil mode. They can also use Respawn Beacons in Havoc Warfare or select laser guided to assist Engineers with tracking enemy vehicles at much greater distances.
- Engineer – They can use welding guns to cut through fences in Tactical Turmoil and repair vehicles. They can also use the AT4 and Stringer in Havoc Warfare and can wield LMGs.
These class roles are fairly similar to traditional Battlefieldroles. The Support is akin to the Medic, with resupply and healing abilities. The Engineer is similar to Battlefield’s equivalent, albeit with some added fortification like Battlebit’s fireteam leader role. Assault pairs better with explosives and has better movement speed up for assaulting positions. Recon is a sniper-type role that has access to Respawn Beacons that behave like Respawn Flares in Battlebit and Battlefield.
