There’s also a selection of graphic options for a range of rigs to fine tune the experience to your machine. While we won’t cover that due to variations in PCs, here are the best combat settings in Delta Force.
Best combat settings in Delta Force Hawk Ops
There are a fair few options for players who use scopes. These options are very good for controlling your visual clarity, recoil improvements, or trading it for better periphery awareness for your battles to come.
Scope Magnification Adapts automatically: on
This is important for close-range fights. Aggressive ADS players can get better visualisation when aiming in. However, it can be a death trap as you lose your side view. This is notably an issue when dealing with really close-quarter fights with smoke grenades. Aiming in can make you miss enemies on the edges. This has happened to us in Ascension’s cave system where enemies push through and get cover; you’re none the wiser and die to their push. Turn it on for most instances except if you’re using marksman rifles or want extra aid with controlling recoil.
Scope Magnification FOV – On
Go to Graphics and scroll to Field of View. This setting will turn on the field of view outside of your scope to be around your player magnification, rather than the magnification of your scope. This impacts performance very slightly. You get more visual clarity on the side of your scope. This is handy for checking for players pushing on your exposed points. It can also help you identify distant targets off your scope so you’re not tunnel-visioned on an area.
Tactical Turmoil Settings
If you play the Tactical Turmoil extraction shooter mode, here are some solid quality-of-life settings we recommend trying. Go to settings then the General tab, then scroll down to Systems:
- Favourite Items in the Stashbox first – on
- High-Value items in the Stashbox first – on
- Value – 9000
- Auto sort when opening Stashbox – on
These settings are important in Turmoil. You can mark items as favourites by right-clicking them and pressing the mark. When you pick up one of those items up, it will go to your Stashbox. You can set the value of the items you want to extract with. We recommend 9000 as the default because that is typically the price of the more common epic items like data cards, flash drives security cameras, and other decent items. Doing this means you get some of the loot you stash in there so you always come out with money.
The auto-sort Stashbox is a valuable feature that ensure you don’t have to think about where the items are. They auto-sort and you can get familiar with the ammo, guns, attachments, and valuables the game defaults to with auto-sorting.
