Wondering when the Twisted Metal Season 2 release date is going to be? The surprising live-action summer hit based on the equally zany video game series of the same name has concluded its first season with a thrilling cliffhanger. Naturally, many are now wondering when they can expect the follow-up chapter to begin, as the continuation of John Doe’s adventure through the show’s post-apocalyptic, cannibal-filled setting can’t come soon enough.

Of course, Anthony Mackie’s performance as the show’s protagonist isn’t the only aspect that’s garnered praise from the audience. Stephanie Beatriz’s and Samoa Joe/Will Arnett’s performances as Quiet and Sweet Tooth, respectively, were also predictably commended. Twisted Metal Season 2 predicted release date

We expect the Twisted Metal Season 2 release date to be in late 2024 or early 2025. Lead actor Anthony Mackie did confirm that the show has been renewed for a second season through a speech at The Game Awards 2023. Unfortunately, neither Mackie nor Peacock have yet to provide an actual launch date, so you will have to remain patient for now until more details surface.

Twisted Metal showrunner Michael Jonathan Smith previously revealed in a tweet that they “have no idea if [Season 2] is happening,” but that they “would love to do more (clearly).” In a response to a commenter, Smith then added that he would share additional details once he knows more. He also noted that “watching and sharing and word of mouth is always helpful” in getting the show renewed.

With the second season’s release date still yet to be provided, its cast hasn’t been disclosed by Peacock just yet. However, the show’s three most prominent characters in John Doe, Quiet, and Sweet Tooth should remain the same moving forward.
