There are quite a few crops available for you to find and grow in 7 Days To Die, but they're all pretty normal, like potatoes and blueberries, to name a few. None of these have been carefully, and potentially unethically, genetically engineered like Super Corn, and it was hidden until the zombie outbreak ruined things.

PostsWithout Super Corn, you won't be able to make some pretty important recipes, or you'll have to shell out plenty of your hard-earned Dukes trying to buy what they make at a trader. There's only one place you can find this amazing crop, and you'll have to brave a dangerous farm to get it.
How To Find Super Corn Plants
There's only one place you can find Super Corn: inside of Carl's Corn. You can find this location in the Forest biome, on the road northwest of Trader Rekt, and directly south of the central residential area at the coordinates of 300W and 693N.
The above is only true of the Navezgane map. In randomly generated worlds, you'll have to explore to find a Carl's Corn location.
First, go up the driveway and to Carl's house. The left door has plenty of things to loot and some zombies, but the Super Corn can only be found on the right side of the house, and there's going to be a total of four plants you can harvest from throughout the building: one on the first floor and three in the basement.
You can get more Super Corn from both wild and player-grown plants if you invest in the Living Off The Land Skill, which increases the number of seeds and crops harvested.
The most important of these is the locked glass containment unit in the room closest to the entrance. Inside, you'll find one plant, a chest containing five Super Corn Seeds, and the schematic to make seeds from existing plants.
It's housed in a very durable container, but there are two ways to get to the plant and chest, depending on what tools you have available and what you feel like doing. You can either:
- Go to the second floor, activate all three switches connected to the multicolored piping and planters, jump onto the top of the container once the flames are gone, and then go down inside using the door.
- Use a weapon like a Stone or Iron Sledgehammer, or an Iron Pickaxetobreak down the containment unit's door to get in, and you'll get a few materials while doing so.
You can break down the numerous purple bags stacked up throughout the house for Nitrate Powder, which is needed to make Farm Plots for growing Super Corn and other crops.
As for the other plants, all you need to do is locate the stairwell at the back of the house and go down to the first basement floor.
The other Super Corn Plants will be in a small greenhouse along with some Dead Corn, and you won't need to break down a door to get to them.
How To Use Super Corn
While it can be used in some cooking recipes, Super Corn's main use is as a key ingredient in three of the best drinks in the game: Grandpa's Awesome Sauce, Grandpa's Moonshine, and Grandpa's Learnin' Elixir.
You can invest in the Master Chef perk to reduce the amount of ingredients needed to craft all three Grandpa-type drinks. They all require a Campfire equipped with a Cooking Pot.
In particular, Grandpa's Moonshine is the best of those three, as even one of them makes dealing with Blood Moons or high-difficulty locations a lot easier thanks to its massive buffs.
