One of the new match types in WWE 2K24 is Ambulance Matches, which allow players to recreate a rare match type by attempting to put an opponent into the back of an ambulance to win the match. Only 12 have been contested in major pro wrestling promotions to date, meaning there is a cornucopia of matchups and bookings gamers can make that haven’t yet happened in real life.

If you're looking to create your own Ambulance Match matchup or recreate a past event, we've got you covered. This guide will cover the basics of the Ambulance Match as well as how to win.

Ambulance Match Basics

After wrestler introductions, an ambulance is backed down to the ring by a referee, and the match is on.

Ambulance Matches are no-disqualification matches, meaning that wrestlers can take advantage of weapons hidden under the ring, as well as normal strikes, kicks, and grapples, to attack their opponent.

An added bonus to Ambulance Matches on WWE 2K24 is that you can climb up the ambulance and brawl on the vehicle's roof.

If you go up first, using the ladder on the side, your opponent will follow.

You cannot throw your opponent off the top of the ambulance or jump off the ambulance onto your opponent. You can get off the top of the ambulance by climbing down the ladder on the side or sliding off the back and down like you would leave the ring.

You can also not throw your opponent into the ambulance.

How To Win An Ambulance Match

Similar to the new Casket Match, 2K24’s Ambulance Matches utilize the submission mini-game to seal the victory. Unlike Casket Matches, however, you need to close two doors to defeat your opponent. This means you must win two submission-type mini-games.

First, make sure the ambulance doors are open. Then get your opponent down on the floor by those doors. Throw them into the back with the normal throwing mechanic, and then begin the mini-games.

If you win both, you win the match. If you fail to win one or both, your opponent will kick the door in your face and exit the ambulance.
