If you've played some gacha games like Wuthering Waves before, you probably already know that rerolling can be a big part of it, especially for F2P and low-spending players. This essentially refers to the process of creating new accounts until you get something specific that you want from the gacha system.

Posts 1If you've looked at the launch character list or if you've been keeping up with the information provided by the developers, you might already have a favorite five-star unit in the game. Here's how you can get them early on if you put in the work.
Reroll Tiers For Wuthering Waves
Every time you want to reroll in Wuthering Waves, you'll have to create a new account either by logging in directly through one of your social media applications or registering separately. It's not recommended to use both these ways on the same account as it might get bugged and wipe all your progress.
If you don't mind the ping, you can also use different servers to do multiple rerolls on the same account.
Once you've created a new account, the progress you should reach before trying again depends on what you're planning to achieve. Here are all the reroll tiers based on that:
Time Taken
Goal
Progress Required
Short
Getting lucky on your initial pulls
- Progress the story until you talk to Baizhi and unlock the Convene system.
- Use the 20 Lustrous Tides you get from pre-registration rewards in the mail on either the Novice or Permanent Character Convene to see if you get lucky.
- You'll also get five Lustrous Tides from Union level since you're bound to reach level five by the time the Convene system unlocks.
- If you login past May 24 or 25, you can get an extra ten Lustrous and Radiant Tides respectively to try your luck for this tier.
- If you don't get anything, try a new account.
Medium
Sniping a specific character from Novice Convene
- Repeat the steps until the fourth one from the last tier and then keep going until you reach Union level 15.
- Collect a total of four Sonance Caskets and submit them so that you can get another two Tides.
- You'll get a total of 40 Lustrous Tides with this method without the ten you get in the mail on May 24, which is enough to guarantee the first five-star on Novice Convene.
- If you don't get the five-star that you want, try a new account.
Long
Attempting your luck at the limited banner
- There are quite a few ways to go about this method after following the steps above, but it gets a lot better after May 25 since you get ten free Radiant Tides in the mail.
- You can continue quests or explore around until you get up to at least 20 pulls on the Character Event Convene banner, and reroll if you don't get anything from those.
You only have a 0.8 percent chance of getting a five-star character on each pull in these banners, so the last method isn't recommended unless you really want to.
Is It Worth Rerolling in Wuthering Waves?
If you're someone who can't decide if you want to progress on your first account or try to reroll and get lucky, this section will help you out. The simple answer to this question is no, it's not worth rerolling in this game. This is mainly because the game gives you a free standard five-star in 40 pulls and lets you choose another one in the next 80.
Moreover, after getting the first copy, you can even buy Wavebands for these characters through Afterglow Coral, which unlocks their Resonance Chain. All of this combined with how hard it is to get an early in the game, you might have to make quite a few accounts before you're satisfied, and it might not feel worth it in the end.
