To start ascending Verina make sure you have enough Shell credits and Resonator EXP potions, which can be obtained from Simulation training.
Her regional specialty is Belle Poppy Flowers, which can be gathered from the Sea of Flames area or bought from the Shifang Pharmacy in Jinzhou. Mob drops are Howler Cores, which are dropped from common Tacet Discords such as Dreadmanes, Heron, Hoartoises, etc.

Where To Find Mourning Aix Or Get Elegy Tacet Cores
Mourning Aix is a Spectro attribute world boss located towards the south of Whining Aix's Mire. Mourning Aix exclusively drops the Elegy Tacet Cores, which are required for ascending Spectro attribute characters like Verina.
Mourning Aix has high resistance to Spectro damage.
To find the Mourning Aix simply head south of Whining Aix's Mire through the Court of Savantae Ruins or by going around the Storm near the Fallen Grave. Your main objective while near the Mourning Aix should be to first unlock Resonance Beacon south of Fallen Grave before heading to the boss, which will get you to Mourning Aix conveniently fast.
Mourning Aix is in an open area, so navigating to it by tracking from the map is also easy.

There are two ways you can obtain Belle Poppy, one is to buy them from Shifang Pharmacy in Jinzhou and the other is to gather them from the Sea Of Flames region. Shifang Pharmacy will let you buy up to 15 Belle Poppy per week.
You can gather up to 29 Belle Poppy flowers from the Sea Of Flames area, and they respawn every 24 hours.
Shifang Pharmacy can be located in the centre of Jinzhou and this shop can also be navigated from the map very easily. To find Belle Poppy flowers in Sea Of Flames start from the Resonance Becon south of Donglu Research Station.
After teleporting, turn right and glide off the cliff to notice red-glowy circles on the ground with cars floating on top of them. These red glowy circles will always have Belle Poppy flowers surrounding them.
Simply head to the spots one by one while looking at the floating cars as a navigating guide, and you can obtain 29 Belle Poppy flowers.
Where To Find Howler Cores
Howler Cores are Weapon and skill material items obtainable from killing Tacet Discords or completing all forgery challenges. The best way to farm Howler Cores to kill Tacet Discords and some of the Tacet Discords that drop Hower Cores are:
- Dreadmanes: Dreadmanes are Tacet Discords that look like wolves and can be found commonly in all areas, especially to the East Of Corroded Ruins in Wuming Bay; to efficiently farm Howler Cores from Dreadmanes it's best to find Havoc Dreadmanes. Havoc Dreadmanes will be surrounded by Fusion Dreadmanes most of the time, and you can obtain a lot of Howler Cores by killing them in groups.
- Hoochiefs: Hoochiefs are large Tacet Discords that look like monkeys, and farming them will also net you a lot of Howeler Cores because they will always be in groups. Keep in mind that Hoochiefs are powerful Tacet Discords and can be challenging if you do not have sufficient firepower to kill them, and the best place to find Hoochiefs and Hoocamps is in Dim Forest and around the Giant Banyan.
Verina's Forte Ascension Materials
When Ascending Verina, make sure not to forget about her Forte. To upgrade Verina's Forte, you need two materials, Helixes and Howler Cores.
Helixes come in different rarities, they are Lento (common), Adagio (rare), Andante (epic), and Presto (Legendary). To obtain these, you must do the Forgery Challenge Misty Forest, which is located towards the north of the Forbidden Forest/West of Violet Banyan, and you can also craft Helixes from the Synthesizer in Jinzhou, but three lower rarities are required to craft a higher rarity.
