One of the best ways to kick back and unwind at the end of a long day, or simply to have something different than your favorite jams on a long car ride, is with a solid podcast. There are thousands of great podcasts to check out these days, but things could be so much better if your favorite video game characters made their own.

Whether educational, filled with debate, or something much more creative, video game characters would probably have some stellar podcasts. That whole thing would of course depend on whether or not the characters in question could stand each other long enough to create some long-form content.
10 Glados, Handsome Jack, And Albert Wesker
There’s no telling how ridiculous a podcast hosted by Glados, Handsome Jack, and Albert Wesker would be. The three villains would bring all the sass possible while they just chatted about villainy and tried to out-brag one another.
Realistically, Glados and Handsome Jack would probably just make fun of Wesker the entire time. There is a lot to make fun of, and those two are meta enough to know how over-the-top Wesker is. Sure, they all failed in their evil schemes, but that’s exactly what would bring them together.
9 Mario, Luigi, And Bowser
I just want to see Mario and Bowser work through their issues with Luigi acting as a kind of middle-man. It would take an entire multi-episode podcast for them to do so, especially when you begin to wonder where exactly Bowser Jr came from, and why he thinks Princess Peach is his mother.
It could be like one of the most public therapy sessions of all time, with Luigi there to interject with all of his weird sounds as often as possible. Bowser may be an animal, but we’d be able to see just how human the king of the Koopa can be.
8 Geralt And Kratos
Something about this duo just sounds magical. The aggression brought by Kratos and the humor brought by Geralt would make for a fun time as they covered their old adventures and various topical events.

We need our favorite sad dads to come together to create a force of a podcast. They could even talk about parenting, though, depending on your choices in The Witcher 3, that may not be the absolute best idea. Both men would be able to bring in some great special guests from time to time, and I know we all want to see how Kratos would feel about Dandelion.
7 Chrono, Chell, Link, And Steve
There are two ways a podcast like this could go. Either the entire thing would just be hours of complete silence with the odd yell from Link, or it would be one of the most talkative podcasts of all time.
We’ve never seen the likes of Chell and Chrono around a mic set-up — it’s completely possible that they’d have a lot to say. I just want to see our favorite silent protagonists bond while finally showing off those great voices. Though, we can all hope Link’s voice isn’t like the one in that old cartoon – Excuse me, Princess.
6 Ezio Auditore, Agent 47, And Corvo Attano
With how many dumb podcast ideas are out there, there’s no way anyone can tell me that people woulstatic.aayyy.com/topic/dn/’t love to hear a group of assassins talk about assassin things. It may take away from the serious nature of the characters, but maybe that’s what we need.
Imagine Agent 47 telling Ezio and Corvo about the time he killed a dude while he was dressed like an ice cream man. Would Ezio and Corvo even know what ice cream is? There are so many questions that could only be answered by a ridiculous podcast.
5 Lara Croft, Samus, And Chun-Li
It really woulstatic.aayyy.com/topic/dn/’t be hard for Lara Croft, Samus, and Chun-Li to have one of the most popular podcasts around. Between the three of them, they could cover just about any topic while also sharing their incredible stories.
I want a fitness and wellness podcast from this trio because I need to know how to get legs as toned as Chun-Li’s. What can I say? Calves are a hard muscle to grow — ask Millhouse. We could all use the workout of an intergalactic bounty hunter, even if none of us could hope to do it.
4 Johnny Cage And Raiden
With how ridiculous the lore of the Mortal Kombat series is at this point, throwing Johnny Cage and Raiden together for a podcast would probably make for an underrated gem. Johnny would be bragging about his exploits while Raiden would be needing to consult with the Elder Gods the whole time.
This would be even better if it were meta and the two were acutely aware of the history of Mortal Kombat to this point. I want to know how Raiden would navigate all of his screw-ups, and how Johnny would deal with all of his supposed deaths in a podcast that would never stop the surprises.
3 Captain Price, Master Chief, And Max Payne
That’s right. We need a podcast filled with some of the gruffest action heroes possible. You already know the whole thing would be run by Price and Master Chief while Max Payne continued to derail the show and make everything depressing.
RELATED: Video Game Characters With Heterochromia
In between swapping war stories, Max Payne would probably begin his inner monologues about the scum of the planet and what they’ve taken away from him, only that monologue woulstatic.aayyy.com/topic/dn/’t be internal. With the right sound effects on hand, this podcast would be an instant classic.
2 Shadow The Hedgehog And Sonic The Hedgehog
Considering how many memes exist between these two characters at this point, it would only make sense for them to do a podcast together. We need the ridiculous edginess of Shadow to be balanced out by Sonic’s upbeat and cool attitude.
The entire show would have to be contentious, so it would have to be something that tackled topical issues the world is facing. Considering these two random hedgehogs have such powerful connections, it just seems right that they’d have a lot to say about the world, even if Shadow’s edgy tone would make things weird.
1 Commander Shepard And Barry Burton
To be clear, this would have to be a paragon Commander Shepard with Barry Burton. These two would put on one of the most magnetic and ridiculous shows possible with all of their puns, odd stories, and the wide pool of guests they could bring in.
It would be one of those podcasts that doesn’t really seem to have a point either. Each episode would just be Shepard and Barry talking about whatever they wanted rather than trying to get to the bottom of something. It would probably be the most quotable show of all time, in the best way possible.
