Completing stages in Vampire Survivors often grants plenty of rewards and modifications that can be used to experiment with future runs. Adventures are no different, offering their own strict set of playable characters and stage modifications that can be used to create self-imposed challenge runs. The Ascension option is another modification that can further complicate Adventures.

After completing any Adventure you choose, you'll be given the option to Ascend the Adventure. Ascension is an irreversible choice that will permanently impact the progress you've made in an Adventure. While it won't affect the base game, it's worth learning all you can about Ascension before leaping.

Ascend Adventure

To choose to Ascend an Adventure, you must firsthave Adventures unlocked from the base game. You'll be given the option to Ascend an Adventure after completing every task in the Adventure's Progress menu, and choosing to Ascend will reset all of your progress on the adventure, functioning similarly to a New Game Plus option.

None of your progress will carry over in an Ascended Adventure. Upon ascension, you'll only have access to several Relics that you obtained in the Base Game.

You're granted one Ascension Point every time you Ascend an Adventure. These points can be used to permanently increase your Luck, Growth, Greed, and Curse stats for all future runs, and they can be freely reassigned to different stats if you ever need a different set of improved stats to quickly clear an Adventure.

Luck affects the odds of better chests spawning, Growth affects the amount of experience gained, Greed affects the amount of gold gained, and Curse affects the speed, health, quantity, and frequency of enemies.

Improving your Growth and Greed stats is essential for quickly completing an Adventure. First, take time to improve your Greed so you can easily purchase all the Power-Ups you need, and after that, you must reassign your Ascension Points towards Growth to swiftly cut through the Progress tasks.
